“This was photoshopped” - Police PRO reacts to purported photo of an officer with a charm tied on his hand


ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Nigeria Police Force spokesperson, responded to the alleged image of an officer wearing a charm around his wrist.


As the image circulated on social media, rumors circulated that a police officer had used the charm to defend himself from Bad Governance protesters. 


 

Adejobi responded on his Instagram page, urging Nigerians to disregard the image because it was the creation of pranksters..

  FG freezes $37m worth of cryptocurrency traced to suspected #Endbadgovernance protest organisers The federal government has frozen bitcoin valued at over $37 million that was kept in wallets that were allegedly owned by some of the protest organizers for #EndBadGovernance. According to Premiumtimes, on August 9, Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja issued an order that led to the freezing of the wallets.
