NDDC urges youths to register for N6bn training scheme The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has urged youths in the Niger Delta region to take advantage of the commission’s special training programme to acquire entrepreneurship skills. The Chairperson of the NDDC Governing Board, Chiedu Ebie, made the call at the inauguration of the NDDC Youth Internship Scheme in Port Harcourt on Monday. It would be recalled that on 31 July, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, disclosed the federal government’s approval of a N50,000 monthly stipend to 10,000 Niger Delta youths for 12 months.
