Tobi Amusan, a track and field athlete from Nigeria, won the women's 100-meter hurdles heat event to start her journey towards an Olympic medal in Paris.

With a time of 12:12 seconds, the Nigerian track and field athlete, who made her Olympic debut in Tokyo three years ago, currently holds the world record in the women's 100-meter hurdles.
At the 2022 World's Athletics Champions in Eugene, Oregon, she broke the record.
