“We're going to have the largest deportation in history of this country, we have no choice” — Donald Trump tells Elon Musk upon his return to X

During a high-profile comeback to X, the social media site that was formerly known as Twitter, former US President Donald Trump pledged to carry out the greatest deportation in US history.

Little new information regarding Trump's intentions for a second term was disclosed during the unusual two-hour public discussion between him and Musk. The majority of the conversation was devoted to the former president's recent attempt on his life, illegal immigration, and his proposals to reduce governmental regulations.

Additionally, Trump announced what he dubbed the greatest mass deportation attempt in US history using the opportunity to introduce a daring new proposition.

This plan seeks to remove millions of unauthorized immigrants from the country; Trump called it a centerpiece of his campaign.

He declared, “We will undertake the largest deportation effort ever seen in this country,” and framed the initiative as a crucial step in restoring order and enforcing immigration laws to their fullest extent. Trump argued that such decisive action is necessary to protect national security and maintain economic stability.

"We need to take decisive action to protect our borders and our citizens," Trump declared, arguing that such action is required to preserve economic stability and protect national security. He justified the mass deportation plan as an essential response to the continuous problem of illegal immigration, in his opinion.

Trump expressed his support for Musk joining his upcoming administration in order to reduce government waste during their conversation. Musk offered his participation in a potential "government efficiency commission."

“You’re the greatest cutter,” Trump told Musk. “I need an Elon Musk — I need somebody that has a lot of strength and courage and smarts. I want to close up the Department of Education, move education back to the states.”
