Update: Man who allegedly m8rdered his ex-girlfriend nabbed in Lagos bar



Fatai Mogaji, a man, was apprehended after he allegedly k!lled Opeyemi, his former girlfriend, in Lagos.


According to LIB, the suspect has been missing since he is suspected of repeatedly st@bbling the deceased.


The deceased's sister claims that on July 10, 2024, Opeyemi and Mogaji got back together at a club in the Ikorodu neighborhood of Lagos state, and they went out to hang out.

At about 5am, they got into an argument and Mogaji allegedly st@bbed Opeyemi 22 times in different parts of her body.

 

They argued at around five in the morning, during which Mogaji is said to have st@bbed Opeyemi 22 times in various body areas.


In a post on Monday, August 5, the sister confirmed the most recent development, stating that the suspect was apprehended in an Ikorodu bar and was then taken to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba.  

 

 

“Good evening Friends, My sister's k!ller (Fatai Mogaji Abdulsalam) was caught last night at F1 Bar Ikorodu by well-wishers and Ope’s friends. He has been moved to Panti Police Station,” she wrote.
