A field hockey player from Australia was detained on suspicion of purchasing cocaine in Paris.
Tom Craig, 28, a striker with Kookaburras, was taken into custody on Tuesday night, August 6, as a result of a police raid in the French capital's northern Pigalle neighborhood.
The reputable French channel FranceInfo stated that Craig 'was arrested while (supposedly) in possession of around one gram of cocaine'.

Following a police raid in the northern Pigalle neighborhood of the French capital on Tuesday night, August 6, Tom Craig, a 28-year-old striker with Kookaburras, was placed under arrest.
Reputable French television station FranceInfo reported that Craig 'was caught while (allegedly) in possession of roughly one gram of cocaine'.
'No charges have been laid,' it said.
'The AOC is continuing to make inquiries and arrange support for the team member.'
It's understood that Craig left an Australian team function within fifteen minutes after being arrested.
According to a prosecution source, the unidentified seller was a 17-year-old who was "behaving like a dealer."
He was purportedly in possession of three grams of mephedrone, 75 ecstasy tablets, and seven vials of cocaine.

The accused dealer cannot be identified since, by law, he is a juvenile.
It was late on Wednesday morning, Paris time, and Craig was still under arrest.
