Mother and neighbours of teenager allegedly r@ped by Landlord's son unwilling to cooperate with Police - Lagos PPRO Benjamin Hundeyin says

The 14-year-old girl in the state's Alakuko district has come to light as the alleged victim of sexual assault by her landlord's son. The Lagos State Police Command's spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has addressed the accusation.

An X-user shared a social media video of the victim with blood all over her priv@te area. The X-user said that the Landlord threatened to take no action against his son.

On social media, Nigerians asked the government to track down the offender and file charges against him.

 

In an update provided this evening, Hundeyin, however, stated that the police had managed to find the supposed scene of the event and had discovered that the victim, the perpetrator, and the aforementioned Landlord were not present.

According to Hundeyin, the victim's mother was contacted but declined to assist the authorities.

‘’UPDATE: The house has been located in conjunction with @Lagosdsva. The landlord is not home. The suspect is not home, neither is the survivor nor her family home. The survivor’s mum has been contacted on phone but she is not willing to cooperate with the police. Also, everyone on the street has declined assisting the police in any form. Radio silence!
