Kaduna police command denies reports claiming #endbadgovernance protesters hijacked its Armored Personnel Carrier APC



 

On Monday, August 5, a video of protestors atop the APC went viral, with reports that the demonstrators had taken it from the police.


But in a statement issued this evening, the command's spokesperson, ASP Mansir Hassan, said that the aforementioned video showed an APC driver who was accosted by a sizable gathering of demonstrators.

Mansir went on to say that the law-abiding citizens of Kaduna are urged to keep the calm and uphold the law by state Commissioner of Police CP Audi Ali Dabigi.

  FG freezes $37m worth of cryptocurrency traced to suspected #Endbadgovernance protest organisers The federal government has frozen bitcoin valued at over $37 million that was kept in wallets that were allegedly owned by some of the protest organizers for #EndBadGovernance. According to Premiumtimes, on August 9, Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja issued an order that led to the freezing of the wallets.
